Wells Crown ASun Diver of the Week for Second Time This Season

Both of her dives in the finals were top-five in program history.
Jacksonville, Fla. --- Georgia Southern diving senior Karlee Wells was announced as the ASun Diver of the Week for her Senior Day meet performances on the boards.
In the 3-meter on Friday, Wells followed up her 293.48 preliminary round score with a pool record at the Georgia Southern Aquatic Center. In the 3-meter finals, she posted a 316.95 to not only take first, but also post the third-highest score in the event in school history. On Saturday, she started out her day one the 1-meter board with a 287.90 prelims score before once again making history. In the 1-meter finals, the senior would post the second-best score in program history with a 308.30 to win the event and secure now four of the best five scores in program history in the 1-meter dive. The award is Karlee's second of the season, winning it nearly one month prior on December 16th.
Wells and the rest of the swim & dive team take to the pool for their final regular season meet as they travel to Greenville for a dual meet against East Carolina on Saturday, January 24th.
