Parker Claxton Set for NCAA Auburn Regional

Parker Claxton is set to compete at the NCAA Auburn Regional on Monday, May 12 through Wednesday, May 14. As the fifth-seeded individual, he will start Monday's first round at 10:42 AM (ET) off the first tee with 13th-seeded USC Upstate's #3 player and Camden Braidech of Chattanooga, the #6 individual seed. Teams and individuals will be re-paired according to score after the first and second rounds. Tee times may be adjusted for weather by the committee.

The junior from Claxton, Georgia, will be making his second appearance in the NCAA Championship (first as an indy) and is the fourth Eagle to earn an NCAA Championship individual bid, the first since Steven Fisk in 2018. Aron Price was selected in 2004 and Bo Fennell was selected in both 1990 and 1991. He was named all conference for the third year on Tuesday, earning first-team honors for the first time.

Claxton is averaging 71.32 strokes per round, which is the 11th-lowest in program history. Claxton took runner-up honors at the Thomas Sharkey Individual Collegiate, shooting a 208 (-8) and tied for third at the Schenkel Invitational with a 210 (-6).

The top five teams and the top individual not on those teams will advance to the finals, which will be played May 17-22 at Omni La Costa Resort & Spa in Carlsbad, California
