NCAA SCORECARD
STATESBORO - The sixth-ranked Georgia Southern rifle team wrapped up its regular season on Saturday, downing North Georgia 4,697-4,599 at the Shooting Sports Education Center.
In smallbore,
Addy Burrow led the way with a 586, followed by
Emma Pohlmann with a 584.
Zahra Gonzalez Mazo and
Bremen Butler tied for fourth with a 576, followed closely by
Amy Visconti (575; 6th),
Ella Goldfaden (574; 7th),
Bella Gamez (571; 8th) and Brooklynne Weatheford (562; 11th). As a team, the Eagles shot a 2,322.
In air rifle, Pohlmann led the way with a 595 to take the gold. Burrow, Gonzalez Mazo and Visconti tied for second with 594s with Butler and Goldfaden tying for fifth with a pair of 592s. Weatherford shot a 590 to take seventh and Gamez posted a 576. As a team, the Eagles posted a 2,375.
The Eagles were led in aggregate by Burrow's 1,180, followed closely by Pohlmann's 1,179. Gonzalez Mazo took third with an 1,170, followed by Visconti (1,169; 4th), Butler (1,168; 5th), Goldfaden (1,166; 6th), Weatherford (1,152; 8th) and Gamez (1,147; 9th) all placed in the top 10 of aggregate.
