NCAA SCORECARD

CHARLESTON. S.C. - The sixth-ranked Georgia Southern rifle team shot a 4,714 to at the Inouye Marksmanship Center on the campus of The Citadel Saturday afternoon in its final action before the NCAA Qualifier next weekend.

In smallbore, Emma Pohlmann led the way with a 587 to place fourth. She was followed by Addy Burrow, who shot a 584 to take sixth. Ella Goldfaden (583; 7th) and Zahra Gonzalez Mazo (582; T-8th) rounded out the scorers. Amy Visconti (578), Brooklynne Weatherford (565) and Bella Gamez (563) also toed the line. As a team, the Eagles shot a 2,336.

In air rifle, Pohlmann shot a 597 to lead the way and was followed closely by Burrow's 596. Gonzalez Mazo posted a 594 to place fourth as the Eagles posted a team, score of 2,378. Bremen Butler posted a 591 and was followed by Weatherford (590; 9th), Visconti (589), Goldfaden (587) and Gamez (568).

The Eagles were led in aggregate by Pohlmann who tied for second with a 1,184. Burrow was fifth with an 1,180 and Gonzalez finished tied for sixth with an 1,176. Golfaden tied for eighth with andn 1,170 and Visconti tied for 10th with an 1,167.

"Hats off to Navy on an incredible match and to The Citadel for hosting us. We had lots of good stuff in both guns, but emotional regulation continues to hold us back from performing how we know we can. We're very fortunate to have a really good sports performance staff so we will continue to build there. I'm looking forward to getting back to Statesboro and preparing for next weekend."
