STATESBORO - Georgia Southern head men's tennis coach Andrew Goodwin has announced the signing of two players to grants in aid to play for the Eagles for Fall 2025.
Joining the 2024 Sun Belt Conference regular seaosn champion Eagles next year will be Roswell, Ga., native Evan Rigsby and Helsingborg, Sweden, native Albert Widell.

Ranked as the top Georgia recruit for 2025 via Tennis Recruiting Net … Also ranks 30th in the Southeast and 97th nationally as of Nov. 12.
Coach Goodwin: "What stuck out to us about Evan during the recruiting process was how he continued to evolve mentally and competitively. We saw a guy that was excited to continue to develop, and I know a guy like that is going to thrive here at Georgia Southern."

Current ITF Junior ranking 512 (Nov. 11) … Captured the Strom & Gulliksson Malmo Junior Open singles title in January 2024 … Also won the Rungsted Kyst title in October 2023 … Won four junior doubles titles in 2023 and two in 2022.
