 • The theme for both games is Oktoberfest! 100 Georgia Southern mugs will be given out at the women's match, and another 100 will be given out at the men's match.

 • If you bring your Georgia Southern mug to the Saturday football game against James Madison, you can get half off soft drinks (no alcohol) at Paulson Stadium! This offer is only good for the JMU game and you must bring your Georgia Southern mug into the stadium empty.

 • The main entrance to Bo Pitts Field will be closed off at halftime of the women's match. Fans will still be able to enter and exit Bo Pitts Field through an additional gate near the RV lot on the opposite side of the main entrance. Signage will be provided to direct fans.

 • At the conclusion of the women's match vs. South Alabama, the Bo Pitts Field dedication ceremony will begin at the main entrance. The ceremony will last approximately 30 minutes.

 • After a brief warm-up period, the men's match against Georgia State will start after the conclusion of the ceremony.

MORE ABOUT BO PITTS
Charles "Bo" Pitts was a three-time letterwinner for Georgia Southern as a goalkeeper for the Eagles from 1980-1982, during the inception of the men's soccer program. Pitts is the current record-holder for the fewest goals allowed in a season at Georgia Southern, with 0.78 per game in 1981. Pitts was the solo shutout leader for the 1981 squad with three shutouts. That 1981 squad holds a handful of Georgia Southern men's soccer records, including the sixth-most single-game goals in school history (eight vs. UNG) and the fifth-most shots in school history (325).

In February of this year, Pitts committed to a seven-figure gift earmarked for the men's soccer program. Already the gift has been used for stadium upgrades, including a brand new video board with a new stadium sound system, repainting of all buildings around the facility, new graphics inside the locker rooms, new windscreens and removable bleachers as well as rolling shade covers for team benches. As a result, Eagle Field @ Erk Park has been renamed Bo Pitts Field @ Erk Park.
