NaJ Watson broke the Georgia Southern record in the 200 with a time of 23.23 at the Black and Gold Invite in the Eagles' outdoor season opener. Her time is the best in the country, and she leads the Sun Belt in the event.
Women's Outdoor Field Athlete of the Week
Elisabet Runarsdottir, Texas State

Bobcats' freshman Elisabet Runarsdottir threw 61.99 meters/203-4 in the women's hammer throw at the UTSA Invitational to win the event and post the best throw in the Sun Belt in the event so far this season. The toss was the 10th-best in school history and a freshman record. It also ranks first in the region, third in the NCAA West region and fifth nationally.
