NCAA SCORECARD

STATESBORO - The Georgia Southern rifle squad completed its regular season Saturday at the NCAA Qualifier as it posted a 4,650 at the Shooting Sports Education Center to down North Georgia by 14 points.

In smallbore, Addy Burrow led the way with a 584 to place first. Ashley Judson tied her career high with a 578 to place fourth. She was followed by Amy Visconti (573; 6th), Anna Mayo (569; 7th), Bella Gamez (565; 8th), Lillian Herring (561; 10th) and Gabby Morrow (546; 13th).

In air rifle, Burrow finished second with a 595. Gamez placed fourth with a 585 and Visconti and Mayo tied for fifth with a 584. Judson placed seventh with a 583, Herring finished 10th with a 577 and Morrow shot a 573.

The Eagles were led in aggregate by Burrow, who shot a 1,179. Judson finished third with a 1,161, followed by Visconti (1,157; 5th), Mayo (1,153; 6th) and Gamez (1,150; 7th).

"Today was one of the hardest matches I've ever seen a team have to shoot. All season, this team has been working toward higher goals and moving toward a national championship caliber team. Qualifiers is a big step in that journey and I think it weighed on a lot of people. I'm happy with a lot of things today, but can see we have a lot to work on. We're looking forward to two more good weeks of training and we prepare for SoCon Championships."
