Davis Brin advances to national balloting for possible Academic All-America honors
STATESBORO - Georgia Southern placed three student-athletes on the 2023 Football Academic All-District Team, as announced by College Sports Communicators (formerly CoSIDA) this week.
The three Eagles named to the squad are: quarterback Davis Brin (finance), receiver Josh Dallas (communication studies) and offensive lineman Pichon Wimbley (exercise science).
Due to new criteria enacted by the organization, Brin will advance to national balloting from the College Sports Communicators membership for possible Academic All-America honors. The 2023 Football Academic All-American teams will be announced in January.
