Kickoff is set for 7:33 p.m. (ET)/6:33 p.m. (local), and the game will will be broadcast on ESPNU. The game will also be available via radio on the Georgia Southern Sports Network. - Louisiana leads the series with Georgia Southern 4-1 after the Ragin' Cajuns downed the Eagles 28-20 last season in Statesboro. UL has won the past three contests in the series. The Eagles' only win over Louisiana came in 2017, a 10-point win in Lafayette.
- This will be just the second Thursday night football game Clay Helton has coached as a head coach. His only other Thursday game came on Oct. 27, 2016, a 45-24 win over California at home.
