NCAA SCORECARD

STATESBORO - Behind a school-record 10 100 series, the 17th-ranked Georgia Southern rifle squad shot a 4,657 aggregate Sunday at the Shooting Sports Education Center to down Wofford in SoCon action.

The Eagles got 100 series from Addy Burrow (one in smallbore, four in air rifle), Erin Ballard (smallbore), Anna Mayo (smallbore), Amy Visconti (one in smallbore, one in air rifle) and Ashley Judson (air rifle). Georgia Southern also got career highs from Kinsley Hannon (smallbore), Lillian Herring (air rifle and aggregate) and Visconti (aggregate).

In smallbore, Burrow led the way with a 585 to take the gold. She was followed in second place by Visconti (580) and in third by Hannon (572). The Eagles posted a 2,302 in smallbore.

Burrow shot her second 597 on the season in air rifle, finishing with 47 straight 10s to end her day. Judson finished second with a 590 and Visconti placed third with a 589 as the Eagles shot a 2,355.

The Eagles too nine of the top 10 aggregate spots, led by Burrow's 1,182. Following her were Visconti (1,169; 2nd), Judson (1,155; 3rd), Hannon (1,151; 4th), Bella Gamez (1,146; 5th), Herring (1,144; 6th), Anna Mayo (1,135; 7th), Erin Ballard (1,133; 8th) and Gabby Morrow (1,117; 10th).

"I think the score from today is the culmination of a semester's worth of hard work. I think the girls have consistently been working on the controlables and sometimes the results can lag behind the hard work. I'm happy for them to see their efforts be rewarded with an outcome. We had a bunch of excellent individual performances, great slings across the board, and our best air gun so far this year. I think we're in a good place heading into out last match of the semester and I look forward to continuing our pursuit of first things."
