STATESBORO - Georgia Southern senior rifle student-athlete 
Addy Burrow has been named the Southern Conference smallbore and air rifle athlete of the month for her performance in October, as announced Friday by the conference.
Burrow (Williamson, Ga.) averaged 586.000 in the first month of action in smallbore at five separate events. In her first match with the Eagles, she set a school record with a 589 smallbore and all five of her scores this season are the top five scores in school history.
She averaged 593.400 in the first month of action in air rifle at five separate events. In her second match with the Eagles, she tied her personal best in air rifle with a 597, which is tied for the fourth-best score in school history. She has the top two highest air rifle scores among SoCon shooters thus far this year.
Her five aggregate scores are all the five highest in school history, including her top one of 1,184 at Morehead State.
The Eagles, ranked 16th in the country, will host Wofford Sunday at 9 a.m.
