STATESBORO - The Georgia Southern men's tennis team has announced the addition of Pierre Mouesca of France as a mid-year enrollee, head coach Jeremy Bayon announced on Monday. Mouesca will join the Eagles in the Spring of 2023.
"Pierre is a great addition to our team. For the last two years, he has played some great tennis and gained a lot of experience on the ITF junior and pro circuit. His personality and game are going to fit very well with the direction our team is trending. I am expecting great things from Pierre on and off the court."
Mouesca has competed in three finals in the ITF Junior Circuit J5 for singles and made one semifinal in J3 singles, while winning two doubles titles, one in J5 and one in J3. Mouesca has been named a regional champion several times in the junior circuit and participated in Les Petits As in 2018, an U14 junior tennis championship in France. This year, Mouesca was named a semi-finalist in singles and doubles in the French U18 Championships in Roaldn, Garros.
