STATESBORO - The 18th-ranked Georgia Southern rifle team posted a 4,603 aggregate Sunday at the Shooting Sports Education Center as the Eagles rolled past No. 19 The Citadel by 53 points.

In smallbore, the Eagles posted a 2,278, led by Ashley Judson's 574. Erin Ballard posted a career-high 573 to place second and Amy Visconti shot a 571 to take the bronze. Bella Gamez shot a 560 to place seventh. Kinsley Hannon shot a 541 to place ninth and Lillian Herring shot a 536 to place 10th.

In air rifle, Judson finished her 60 shots strong to hit a 586 to take first place. Ballard finished off her big day with a 583 to place second. Visconti tied her career high with a 579 to place fourth and Hannon shot a 577 to tie for seventh. Anna Mayo her season debut after returning from an injury to shoot a career-best 577 and tie Hannon for seventh. Gabby Morrow shot a 561 to place ninth.

The Eagles were led in the aggregate by Judson who shot a 1,160 to take the gold. Ballard put up a career-best 1,156 to take second and Visconti tied for third with a career-best 1,150.
