STATESBORO, Ga. - Georgia Southern men's tennis fell to Georgia Tech on Sunday afternoon in Atlanta, 7-0. The Eagles fell to 8-3 on the season, while Georgia Tech improved to 8-5 overall.Â
Murphy McCullough and Alexandros Roumpis defeated McDaniel and McKinney in double 6-2, before the Yellow Jackets took the doubles point. In singles play the Eagles were swept by Georgia Tech, while Jaap Aaldering and Alexandros Roumpis fought their way to a third set.
The Eagles will be back in action March 13, at noon at Wilmington.

"We played better than yesterday and put ourselves in position to win some matches. Murphy and Alex really started well and the entire team kept fighting. Georgia tech made some good shots when they needed to make them. We will get better from this and get ready for next weekend."
