ATLANTA, Ga. - Georgia Southern men's tennis fell to Georgia State on Saturday 7-0. The Panthers improve to 10-5 on the season and 2-0 in conference play, while the Eagles fall to 10-7 and 0-2 in conference play.
Georgia State would jump out to an early 1-0 lead in doubles play, winning on courts two and three. On court two the Eagles would force a tiebreaker at 6-6, before falling 7-3 in the tiebreaker.
In singles play Pascal Wagemaker and Jonathan Morales were able to fight their way into third sets. Morales won his first set 6-1, before falling 6-4, 6-1 in the final two frames. Wagemaker dropped the first set, before forcing a third set with a 6-4 victory in set two.
The Eagles will be back in action on April 2nd to take on Troy in Troy, Alabama.
