Men's Soccer Announces 2022 Winter ID Camps

STATESBORO, Ga. - Join Head Coach John Murphy and select college coaches in a unique and challenging training experience at the John Murphy Eagle Soccer Academy Winter ID Clinic on January 8-9, 2022 on the beautiful campus of Georgia Southern University in Statesboro, Ga. The facilities and location provide a centralized location within the southeastern United States and a convenient airport option less than an hour from campus. The personal touch at the JMESA Winter ID Clinic includes shuttle service to and from the Savannah airport and from local hotel options as well as access to all 11v11 videos taken at the camp to assist with your college search.

The flexible and inexpensive format allows campers to attend one day or both based on their schedule and budget. Unlike other ID camps/clinics that solely focus on match play, the JMESA Winter ID Clinic has two training sessions per day to address specific skill sets and decision-making required to play in college and beyond. Electronic player evaluations will not only provide the camper with detailed feedback to be used in their own personal development but also as a reference during their college search.

Regardless of where a player is looking to go to college, the JMESA Winter ID Clinic is an excellent opportunity to develop as a player and get further insights on what it takes to play at the college level. The JMESA Winter ID Clinic is open to all players high school-aged and above looking to play soccer at the collegiate level. Coach Murphy's methods have been utilized both here in the U.S. and abroad at the highest levels of the game. He and his staff led the Eagles to the 2016 Sun Belt regular-season championship in his first season as well as the Sun Belt Conference championship match and a No. 74 NCAA RPI ranking in 2018.

"We are pleased to offer our fifth annual Winter ID clinic early in 2022," Coach Murphy said. "It has become a very popular training option for top players throughout the country with seventeen different states being represented in the previous two years. The location is perfect at a time where the winter weather shuts down large portions of our country, and our facilities are tough to beat. Additionally, we have five current players who were campers at this specific event. Our goal is to help every camper find his best college option and we work very hard to create a comprehensive professional experience on and off the field. So with that in mind, we look forward to having another talented group on campus this January."
