
Men's Tennis Returns To Winning Ways After Defeating Winthrop

STATESBORO – The Georgia Southern men's tennis team snapped a four-match losing streak to even the season at .500 in a 5-2 contest over Winthrop.
The Eagles (9-9) dropped the doubles point from the one and three spots before clinching the match with singles wins from Murphy McCullough, Pascal Wagemaker, Alexandros Roumpis, Valentin Dun and Jonathan Morales.
What head coach Sander Koning said:
"It was a good overall team effort. We especially looked good after losing the doubles point and played hungry and hard to get the win."

The Eagles will face Youngstown State Friday morning at 10:00 a.m. at the Wallis Tennis Center.
