MOREHEAD, Ky. - The Georgia Southern rifle squad fell to No. 15 Morehead State Saturday at the Button Rifle Range in the second of two matches against the Eagles this weekend. The Frosh Four shot a 2,155 in smallbore and 2,241 in air rifle for a 4,396 aggregate.
In smallbore, Judson led the way with 562 to place ninth, followed by Gabby Morrow and Lillian Herring both with a 543 and Amelia Pierce shot a 507 to round out the team scoring.
In air rifle, Judson led the way with a 582 to place eighth, followed by Morrow (568), Herring (558) and Pierce (533).
Judson led the way with a 1,144 aggregate to place ninth. Morrow finished with a 1,111, Herring shot a 1,101 and Pierce rounded out the scoring with a 1,040.

"The team worked on a lot during this road trip. I invite everyone to admire their progress during our next home match, which is next Saturday, February 8th. We start at 0800 and it runs until 1230. We have an indoor viewing area, which means ear and eye protection are not required. Tickets are complimentary. Please also mark your calendars for the upcoming Southern Conference Championships on March 7th and 8th, which will also be held at Shooting Sports Education Center.We appreciate your support! "
