Eagles Continue to Soar in the Classroom

STATESBORO - The Georgia Southern University student-athletes continued to excel in the classroom during the fall 2019 semester as 10 of the programs earned a 3.0 or higher for the fall semester.
On the team level, the rifle team posted the highest GPA of all teams for the fall 2019 semester. The rifle team posted a 3.54 GPA, which is the highest semester GPA in the history of the program. The men's golf team posted the highest GPA of all men's programs with 3.47 for the fall semester.
Overall, 211 student-athletes earned a place on the honor roll (3.0 or higher). Of that group, 71 made the Dean's List (3.50-3.99) and 59 made the President's List for earning a perfect 4.0 semester GPA.
