Eagles move into game preparations

STATESBORO – The Georgia Southern football team returned to practice Tuesday afternoon, beginning its in-school schedule with afternoon meetings and practice. With just 11 days until kickoff at LSU, the process to determine the depth chart and potential travel squad for the 80 players who will make the trip has begun, but won't be set fully until game week.
In today's coaching interview, GSEagles.com caught up with special teams coordinator Andrew Dodge to get his thoughts on his group.
The team will return to the field on Wednesday with a 4:50 p.m. practice at Allen E. Paulson Stadium. On Friday night, the team will head to Savannah for a practice at Memorial Stadium, site of the team's first official NCAA game in 1984. Read and watch more on this special event.
