STATESBORO - The Second Annual GUSPYs Award Show was held on Wednesday evening at the Performing Arts Center as the Georgia Southern Athletics Department celebrated another year of Eagle Athletics. The event, put on by the Student-Athlete Advisory Committee and hosted by Danny Reed, honored over 20 winners of various awards voted on by the student-athletes and staff of the department.

The big winner of the night was senior rifle team member Rosemary Kramer, who took home the female scholar-athlete and female student-athlete of the year awards. The first-team All-American finished third at the NCAA Air Rifle Championships and is a two-time CRCA Academic All-American. Tookie Brown took home his second male student-athlete of the year honor after being named the Sun Belt Player of the Year for men's basketball and Steven Curry of the baseball team was named the male scholar-athlete of the year.
