FRANKLIN, Tenn. – Steven Fisk tied for eighth, and the Georgia Southern men's golf team finished 14th after the final round of the Mason Rudolph Championship Sunday at the Vanderbilt Legends Club South Course.
Brett Barron led the Eagles with a 71 today as the teams had to battle through multiple weather delays to finish the round. Individual
Jake Maples shot 68 and tied for 21st on the individual leaderboard. Fisk's tie for eighth was his sixth top-10 finish of the season and 22nd of his career.
Maples made a team best five birdies on the day and shot 2-under on the back nine with birdies and 10, 11 and 18. Barron was even on the back and played his final seven holes of the day 1-under.
The field featured five teams in the top-45, including fourth-ranked Vanderbilt, which hosted the tournament, and 12 individuals in the top-100. Vanderbilt ran away with the team title by 17 strokes over 20th-ranked Liberty.
