Men's Tennis Celebrate Their Seniors

Eagles fall to Panthers at home
STATESBORO, Ga - Georgia Southern Men's Tennis were at home on Saturday for their last home match of the season. The Eagles celebrated the team's seniors before going up against Georgia State. The Panthers defeated the Eagles, 4-1
The team started out the day by celebrating seniors, Stefano Di Aloy and JC Alcala before taking to the courts. The Eagles gave up the doubles point early to the Panthers and gave them the lead going into singles. Antonio Muniz took down Roberts Grinvalds, 6-2, 6-2 at No. 1 singles to earn the Eagles lone point of the match. The freshman beat Grinvalds in straight sets and moved to 14-7 on the season. Georgia Southern's Men's Tennis moved to 15 - 10 on the 2019 season.

"Today we had a tough match against Georgia State. I give credit to them. They were able to lift their game up at the right time. I am proud of our seniors and what they have accomplished here at Georgia Southern. They have been a big part turning this program around. I wish them all the best."
