Key moments
After Georgia Southern (6-10, 1-4) held an early 7-6 advantage, UT-Arlington (11-7, 3-3) jumped out to an eight-point lead in the first set and fended off a late Eagles comeback to win 25-21. The Mavericks never allowed an Eagle lead for the remainder of the game.
Quotables from head coach Chad Willis
""We came out very flat tonight, we put together some solid stretches at the end of sets but spent the majority of the match against the ropes. I'm disappointed we're not finding the consistency because we're seeing it in practice, but it's just a matter of trusting the process and staying the course come match time. We will continue to push the priorities and little things as we work to find that rhythm as a team."
