STATESBORO – Ike Smith tallied his fourth career double-double with game highs of 18 points and 10 rebounds to lead Georgia Southern to a 101-64 men's basketball victory over Brewton-Parker Friday night in Hanner Fieldhouse.

Eagles of the Game
Simeon Carter made the most of his first career start and chipped in a career-high 16 points to go along with five rebounds and two blocked shots for the Eagles (7-3). Trey Dawkins collected 12 points, five blocked shots and two rebounds in just 11 minutes of playing time.

Key moments
Georgia Southern broke the game open with a 30-6 run over the first 8:04 of the second half. GS forced 10 Baron turnovers during the stretch, and Brewton-Parker shot just 2-for-12 from the floor. Carter scored eight points in the run to lead the Eagles.

Stat of the Game
The Eagles forced 28 turnovers and tallied 15 steals. GS also outscored the Barons 23-4 from the free-throw line.
