NASSAU, Bahamas – Tookie Brown tallied 21 points and five assists, and Georgia Southern shot 59 percent in an 88-78 comeback victory over Pepperdine Saturday night in the Islands of the Bahamas Showcase semifinals in Kendal Isaacs National Gymnasium.

Ike Smith posted 16 points, six rebounds, two assists and a block, and Calvin Wishart chipped in 14 points, three assists and two rebounds off the bench.
Key moment
Georgia Southern (4-0) trailed by 11 points with just over 13 minutes to play when Brown's fastbreak layup ignited an 18-2 run for the Eagles. Brown scored six points during the stretch, David-Lee Jones Jr. added five, Montae Glenn netted four and Wishart hit his first career 3-pointer. After Pepperdine (2-2) scored a basket, Wishart made a free throw, and Smith netted a triple to give GS a seven-point cushion with 7:31 remaining. The Eagles forced six turnovers during the run.
