
Don Day Added To Strength & Conditioning Staff For GS Football

Day comes to Statesboro from Buffalo
"Don Day is a guy who brings head football strength and conditioning experience to our program," Lunsford said. "I am excited that we are able to get him to join Georgia Southern football. With Coach Greenhalgh and Coach Day in the building, our strength and conditioning program for our players will be second to none."
Day has also contributed as a columnist for EliteFTS.com and also has had stops at Western Kentucky University, American University, Robert Morris University and The University of Akron.
At American, he worked with the track/cross country program and designed the speed/agility program for men's/women's soccer and field hockey. At Robert Morris, he worked with the softball and football program.
Day received his Master's at the University of Akron in sports science and coaching while doing his graduate assistantship with the football strength staff. He received his bachelor's degree in strength and conditioning at The University of Findlay while also playing football for the school.
He is certified through the CSCCA with the S.C.C.C (strength conditioning coaches certification) and USAW certification.
