How YOU Can Paint the Town Blue

Fans encouraged to wear blue next week to support the Eagles
STATESBORO, Ga. - Paint the Town Blue officially begins on Monday, Sept. 4 with several events. There are multiple ways for you to Paint the Town Blue and here's how: Enter your business or campus department in the True Blue Spirit Competition. Click here for more information and to register.
• Decorate your home, place of business, etc. with GS Athletics posters (football, volleyball, soccer), schedule cards, signs, window paint, etc.
Posters and schedule cards are available at the Athletics Ticket Office located at 203 Lanier Dr, Statesboro, GA. Hours are Monday-Friday, 8:30 a.m.-5 p.m.

• Use the following hashtags on social media: #PTB2017 and #DeclawTheCats• Post your photos wearing your True Blue colors on social media. Make sure to tag @GSathletics on Twitter and Instagram or Georgia Southern Athletics on Facebook.

Monday, September 4
GAME DAY! Men's Soccer vs. Clemson – 7 pm, Eagle Field – Erk Park
A great event to kick off Paint the Town Blue! The official home opener of Men's Soccer begins with a big game versus ACC opponent Clemson. Help us break the attendance record with over 1,200 fans. We'll be giving away free vuvuzelas, free pizza for students, raffling an autographed soccer ball, and have a moon bounce for little eagles. Students get in free with Eagle ID and general public may purchase tickets at GSEagles.com/Tickets.

Paint the Town Blue will cap off with the football home opener! A lot of great promotions will commence including Military Appreciation, Night of Champions, and the GATA Club Reunion. Plus, our very own Adrian Peterson will be back and recognized for his induction into the College Football Hall of Fame.
