Eagles set three new school records in the season's first home match

STATESBORO, Ga. - For the second-straight week, Georgia Southern Rifle posted three team school records while Lilyanne Wade set a new individual school record with the air rifle. The Eagles opened the day by besting their school record in small bore by 16 points. In air rifle, the Eagles were 12 points better than their school record score.

Courtney Weekley led the way for the Eagles, posting personal records in small bore, air rifle and aggregate score. Her score of 564 with the small bore rifle was the third-best score in program history. Lillyanne Wade continued her assault on the school record book by besting her school record in air rifle by one point.

The Eagles will face North Georgia again next weekend when they travel to Dahlonega for a SoCon match that also features an appearance by The Citadel.
