
"Celebrate Georgia Agriculture" Scheduled for Thursday Night's Game

Georgia Southern fans can enjoy agriculture events throughout the day
STATESBORO, Ga.— In the midst of one of the biggest games of the season on Thursday night, the game against Appalachian State also marks Georgia Southern's Agriculture Game. "Celebrate Georgia Agriculture" presented by Blanchard Equipment and Georgia Farm Bureau aims to bring light to locally grown products and the importance of agriculture as a whole.
Before the 7:30 p.m. kick, fans can enjoy the Georgia Farm Bureau Fan Fair. In addition to the Georgia Farm Bureau and the Blanchard Equipment booths, Georgia Beef, Georgia Peanuts and Colonial House of Flowers will also be in the area. There will be music, free hotdogs and peanuts from Georgia Beef and Georgia Peanuts and flowers available for sale from Colonial House.
The Clubhouse will be running tractor races for kids in the Fan Fair area, with the finalists racing on the turf during the game.
Blanchard is set to bring four tractors for display and pictures, with one of the tractors leading the Eagles through the Eagle Walk. Starting at 5 p.m. the Mobile Dairy will be doing three demonstrations next to the Georgia Farm Bureau's tents which will have contests, cash prizes and a Yeti Cooler giveaway by GFB Insurance.
Inside the gates, Georgia Farm Bureau is handing out Georgia Southern pompoms and fans.
