WHAT COACH KEVIN KENNEDY SAID
On the game
"Although I'm very disappointed with the result tonight, I thought we played extremely well for long stretches and we showed a lot of spirit and effort. South Florida is a quality team that I believe will compete for their conference tournament and make the national tournament, so this was a good test for our team early in the season. There are areas that we can improve in, and we will prior to conference play."
NEXT UP
A trip to the Lipscomb Tournament is next-up for the Eagles. The Weekend in Nashville includes a Friday night match at Lipscomb and a Sunday afternoon tilt versus Belmont.
