Cheerleaders promote awareness for Saturday's game
STATESBORO, Ga. - Georgia Southern Athletics held a Traffic Blitz Friday morning at the intersections of Fair Rd/Tillman Rd and
Veterans Parkway/301 N to promote Saturday's home football opener against Western Michigan.
The Georgia Southern cheerleaders surrounded the intersections and were getting the Statesboro community exicted about tomorrow's football game against the Broncos. Kickoff is set for 6 p.m. and promotions include Paint the Town Blue, GATA Club Reunion, Night of Champions and Band Day.
The 2014 Sun Belt Conference championship flag will be raised pregame, as well.
Fans are encouraged to get in the seats before the 6 p.m. kickoff to welcome the Eagles to the field. As part of #PTB2015, all fans are encouraged to WEAR BLUE for the game.
