
Several game times for road contests announced

Eleven of 12 game times now known
STATESBORO, Ga. - Game times for several road football games have been announced by opponents to nearly finalize the 2015 Georgia Southern football schedule. In the past week, Idaho, UL Monroe and Troy have set the game times for their home contests.
Georgia Southern and Idaho will kick off at 9 p.m. Eastern (6 p.m. local) on Saturday, Sept. 26 in Moscow, Idaho. One week later, the Eagles will travel to Monroe, Louisiana, to take on the Warhawks. That game will start at 7 p.m. Eastern (6 p.m. local). Troy announced Friday its home game times and the Eagles and Trojans will kick at 3:30 p.m. Eastern (2:30 p.m. local) on Saturday, Nov. 14.
The game times for West Virginia (7:30 p.m.) and Appalachian State (7:30 p.m.) were already announced. With today's announcement, only the game time for the Nov. 21 game at Georgia remains as an unknown. You can see the entire schedule here.
Georgia Southern opens its 2015 campaign on Sept. 5 at West Virginia and has its home opener on Sept. 12 against Western Michigan (6 p.m.).
Georgia Southern won the 2014 Sun Belt title in its first season in the league, finishing 8-0 in the conference and 9-3 overall. The Eagles return 13 starters to the 2015 squad, were picked to win the Sun Belt in the league's preseason coaches' poll and are receiving votes in the USA Today Amway Top 25 Coaches Poll.
Fans can purchase 2015 season tickets and select their seats online, by calling 1-800-GSU-WINS or by visiting the ticket office in the Cowart Building adjacent to Paulson Stadium (203 Lanier Drive). Ticket office hours are Monday-Friday from 8 a.m.-5 p.m. Season tickets prices start as low as $75 for all six games. Season ticket sales have exceeded last year's total and are expected to reach an all-time high.
