Over 150 Student-Athletes Honored by Sun Belt

NEW ORLEANS – The Sun Belt Conference honored 152 Georgia Southern University student-athletes for their academic achievements during the 2014-15 academic year.
The league announced their Commissioner's List and Honor Roll on Tuesday, which recognized student-athletes that earned a GPA of 3.5-4.0 or 3.0-3.49, respectively.
Georgia Southern had 72 student-athletes on the Commissioner's List and 80 on the Honor Roll.
The women's soccer team led all Georgia Southern teams on the Commissioner's List with 12 student-athletes. The football and softball teams both added 10 student-athletes each to the list.
The football team led the way on the Honor Roll with 18 student-athletes, while the baseball and women's soccer teams added 12 each to the total.
