STATESBORO, Ga. – The helmet from Georgia Southern football's "Traditions" uniform is on display at the College Football Hall of Fame.
The helmet worn for the homecoming game against Idaho on Oct. 11, is a part of the Alternate Helmet Exhibit which runs throughout the summer at the College Football Hall of Fame and the Chick-fil-A Fan Experience in Atlanta.
The Traditions helmet paid homage to Georgia Southern University and featured the University logo on one side of the helmet and the player's number on the other side.
Georgia Southern won the game against the Vandals 47-24 and sent home happy one of the largest crowds in Stadium history after the program's fifth-straight homecoming victory.
