Athletics Distribute Stoles to Graduating Student-Athletes

STATESBORO, Ga. – Georgia Southern Athletics honored 46 graduating student-athletes with a special stole ceremony Friday in the Bishop Field House.
The Athletic Department handed out stoles that will be used to signify student-athletes at tomorrow's Georgia Southern University graduation at Allen E. Paulson Stadium.
Among those receiving their stoles were members of the football, men's basketball, men's soccer, women's basketball, rifle, volleyball, women's soccer, men's tennis, track and field, women's tennis and swimming and diving teams.
Unable to attend the event due to competition away from Statesboro were members of the baseball, softball and track and field teams. Those athletes in competition over the weekend will have a special graduation ceremony at 3 p.m. Monday in Bishop Field House.
