Georgia Southern Athletics Announces Organizational Changes

STATESBORO, Ga. – Georgia Southern Director of Athletics Tom Kleinlein announced changes in the structure of his senior staff today.
"The financial aspects of college athletics are changing in a number of areas, and we want to make sure our organization is set up to manage the business side of Georgia Southern athletics in the most efficient way possible," said Kleinlein. "In order to do so, we've made some internal changes and reshuffled some of the duties of our senior staff. The most notable change is that Jeff Blythe will oversee all the financial aspects of the department, and Tracy Ham will manage our internal operations."
The duties of the senior staff members are listed below and effective immediately. An updated organizational chart can also be found here (link to PDF).
Cathy Beene:
Will have the new title of Senior Associate Athletic Director for Administration and continue to serve in her role of Senior Woman Administrator and Sport Supervisor for Softball, Swimming & Diving, Women's Basketball, Indoor and Outdoor Track and Cross Country, Rifle and Men's and Women's Tennis.
Jeff Blythe:
Will have the new title of Senior Associate Athletic Director for Business Operations. He will assume all of the Business Operations of the Department and serve as Liaison to University VP of Finance, University HR, University Legal Counsel, and manage the business relationship with Learfield Sports Properties. He will continue his role as Sport Supervisor for Men's Soccer, Volleyball, Men's Golf and Women's Golf.
Tracy Ham:
Will now have the title of Associate Athletic Director for Special Projects and Internal Operations. He will add supervisor of Strength and Conditioning, Sports Medicine, Equipment Room, Facilities, and Information Technology to his responsibilities. He will also serve as the administrator in charge of Gameday Operations.
Gleen Hart:
His new title will be Associate AD for Marketing and Fan Experience. He will have oversight of all Athletic Marketing and Athletic Communication. He will continue his current responsibility of community outreach and continue to manage relationships with the following: University Bookstore, Adidas, University Streaming, University Licensing, and University Marketing and Communications. He will have the responsibility of Game Day Promotions and In Game Coordination of Fan Experience.
Kevin Bostian:
His title will be Senior Associate AD for Development. He will serve as Executive Director of the Athletic Foundation. He will assume responsibility for oversight of the Athletic Ticket Office as well as the sale of Luxury suites in Paulson Stadium and J.I. Clements Stadium.
