Athletics Seeking Student Applicants for GUS

GUS Application
STATESBORO, Ga. – Georgia Southern Athletics is seeking full-time students to perform as the Eagles' mascot "GUS" during the 2015-2016 year. Those wishing to tryout must be a current Georgia Southern University student.
Qualified applicants will be asked to participate in a three-step interview/audition process. The number of candidates will be narrowed down before each step. Applicants applying for GUS must meet certain requirements and qualifications to be considered.
GUS is the #1 fan of Georgia Southern University and makes over 300 appearances each year at athletics, university and community events. Gus is expected to be courteous and welcoming to all fans and members of the public as well as officials and staff.
