Eagle Student-Athletes Take Part in Career Service Mock Interviews

STATESBORO, Ga. – Georgia Southern senior student-athletes participated in mock job interviews tonight at Bishop Fieldhouse as part of Georgia Southern student-athlete services and career services programming.
Georgia Southern career services offers a Mock Interview Day for all Georgia Southern seniors, but because
because student-athletes schedules are often packed with practices, study hall and travel to competitions, student-athlete services was able to carve out a block of time specifically for senior student-athletes.
"This is to walk them through the process, start to finish, of interviewing for a job," said Associate Athletic Director for Special Projects Tracy Ham. "How to get ready for interviews, what it feels like, what kinds of questions are asked – it's exactly like what would happen at a job interview."
