Georgia Southern athletics participated in the Exercise is Medicine Block Party Kickoff Thursday in front of The University Store. Click on the link above for a Facebook photo gallery.
The event was one of a number of promotions going on Thursday that are connected with the basketball doubleheader against Georgia State. The women's game tips off at 5 p.m., and the men's game starts at 7:30 p.m.

UPB Block Party - Free food, games and more starting at 2:30 p.m. outside Hanner Fieldhouse
Whiteout - All fans encouraged to wear white for the game.
GATA Game - All Georgia Southern student-athletes in attendance.
Eagle Football recognized at halftime
Free white T-Shirt for First 500 Students from University @ Southern and 111 South.
Free white Rally Towel from The Hamptons for the first 500 students
