Blue Out, Senior Day Highlight Saturday’s Game

Eagles take on rival Georgia State at 2 p.m.
STATESBORO, Ga. - The final home football home game of 2015 for the Georgia Southern Eagles features the annual Blue Out game and Senior Day. Here's some important information to get you primed for the game.
BLUE OUT
• The Georgia Southern vs. Georgia State football game will be the annual Blue Out game. All fans are encouraged to wear blue to the game and show their True Blue Spirit in the final home game of the season.
SENIOR DAY
• Show your support and honor our football senior players for their hard work, effort, and talent put forth … both on the field and in the classroom. The ceremony will begin at approximately 1:35 p.m. • The 23 players running out onto the field for the final time at Paulson Stadium Saturday are: Jake Banta, Jonathan Battle, Ryan Brown, Roscoe Byrd, Montay Crockett, James Dean, Matt Dobson, Darien Foreman, Antonio Glover, Alex Hanks, Tay Hicklin, Maurice Hunt, Riyahd Jones, Derek Keaton, Ryan Longoria, Ryan Nowicki, Cody Rediger, Lennie Richardson, Andre Sims, Jeff Ward, Darrius White, Antwione Williams and Caleb Williams.
• Over the past four seasons, this group has seen the transformation of the program as it has gone from the FCS to now a bowl-eligible FBS squad for the first time in program history.
• These players have been a part of 34 wins, two conference championships, a pair NCAA playoff wins and an NCAA semifinal appearance. They made history with Georgia Southern's first win over an BCS program in 2013, last season with the Eagles' Sun Belt Conference championship and again this year by becoming bowl eligible for the first time.
• The Eagles are 26-4 in designated "Senior" games and have won the past six such contests.
SOUTHERN NOT STATE WEEK
• What better way to get pumped up for the final regular season game versus rival Georgia State than by celebrating #SouthernNotState Week.
