Authentic Sod from Allen E. Paulson Stadium is up for grabs.
On Sunday, December 6, 2015, the natural grass in the Allen E. Paulson Stadium will be removed for the incoming artificial turf.
To encapsulate this historic moment, the Georgia Southern Athletic Foundation is making it possible for Eagle Nation to own a piece of Georgia Southern history by purchasing a piece of Glenn Bryant Field.
Eagle fans can either purchase strips of sod to replant for $100 per yard (it's up to purchaser to keep it alive) or buy a commemorative case containing freeze-dried sod to display for $250.
All proceeds benefit student-athlete scholarships.
