Team to wear special stickers Thursday night
STATESBORO - Georgia Southern is celebrating 25 years as Georgia Southern UNIVERSITY tonight as the Eagles host Texas State in a nationally televised game on ESPNU. Kickoff is set for 7:30 p.m. inside Paulson Stadium.
The team will have special stickers on their helmets to commemorate the anniversity of this historic step in school history.
It's also Tackling For a Cure Night as the Eagles will don pink ribbon stickers on the back of their helmets for breast cancer awareness. Additionally, the coaches will be wearing pink hats and Zeta Tau Alpha will have several booths set up around the stadium handing out ribbons, pink lemonade and other items to raise awareness.
