Field of Dreams to Turn Spooky Thursday Night

Play area to turn Halloween themed for a quarter during TSU game
STATESBORO, Ga. - The usually playful Field of Dreams at Paulson Stadium will turn to the Field of Screams Thursday Night as the Georgia Southern Football Team hosts Texas State in a nationally televised game on ESPNU. In celebration of Halloween, the GS Athletics Marketing Staff has put together a fun evening of tricks and treats for the little ones to enjoy as the Eagles take on the Bobcats.
The basic information for the Field of Screams is:
• Kids ages 12 and under ONLY
• MUST be in costume
• Opportunity to Trick or Treat with GSU student-athletes, participate in fun games and activities, and win cool Halloween-themed prizes
• Participants should plan on bringing their own Halloween buckets/bags to collect their candy in
• Parents are welcome to walk through the Field of Screams with their kids to take pictures, if they wish
• Kids ages 3 and under MUST have a parent accompanying them in the Field of Screams
The Field of Screams will only be open from 7 p.m. until whenever the first quarter ends. Game time is set for 7:30 p.m. At the conclusion of the first quarter, the Field of Screams will be shut down regardless of whether there is still a line of people waiting outside to come in. The Field of DREAMS will reopen as soon as cleanup is finished.
