
First Sun Belt Conference Contest at South Alabama Set for 7:30 ET Kickoff

MOBILE, Ala. – Georgia Southern's first Sun Belt Conference football game, played against South Alabama at Ladd-Peeples Stadium on Saturday, September 20th, will kick off at 7:30 p.m. Eastern, 6:30 p.m. local time, the league office announced today. The contest has been selected for broadcast on the Sun Belt Conference Network and will be broadcast nationally ESPN3.
With the announcement today, all of Georgia Southern's remaining games in the month of September will be available for viewing with the Sept. 20th game on ESPN3, the Appalachian State-Georgia Southern game on Thursday, Sept. 25th on ESPNU and this Saturday's noon game at Georgia Tech on the ACC Regional Network.
The Eagles were already slated for ESPNU for the Oct. 30th Troy game and for CBS Sports Network for the Nov. 15th game at Navy. Additional coverage of games will be announced at a later date.
