Eagles’ contest vs. Aggies kicks off at 8 p.m. Eastern Time
NEW ORLEANS – The Georgia Southern-New Mexico State game will be available to a national audience on ESPN3 with kickoff set for 8 p.m. Eastern Time. The Eagles picked up their second Sun Belt Conference win last Thursday vs. Appalachian State and are in the midst of a seven-game stretch of league games.
This is the Eagles' first-ever trip to the "Land of Enchantment," and first time playing a team from New Mexico, though Coach Willie Fritz recorded his first FBS win, a 48-45 overtime thriller over the New Mexico Lobos in Albuquerque in 2011.
Georgia Southern's October 11th meeting with Idaho at Paulson Stadium has also been selected for ESPN3 broadcast. Kickoff for the 2014 Homecoming game is 6 p.m.
