JEC Adds Benefits to Membership, Moves Eagle Fun Zone Location

STATESBORO, Ga. – Georgia Southern athletics has enhanced its Junior Eagle Club membership with added benefits and moved the Eagle Fun Zone at football games to the Southeast corner of Paulson Stadium behind the Cowart Building.
The Eagle Fun Zone has been moved from in front of Bishop Fieldhouse to the Southeast Corner of the Stadium adjacent to Gate 5 and behind the Cowart Building. The move was made to enhance the family friendly atmosphere of the area, ease the traffic flow near Bishop Fieldhouse and provide more space for inflatables and interactive games.
Junior Eagle Club (JEC) members will also be recognized at the Nov. 29 football game against ULM and will receive a pregame pizza party. One lucky JEC member will even get to be an honorary team captain at the coin toss.
The Eagle Fun Zone is a place where JEC members can be dropped off to play under the supervision of volunteers, who will watch and care for the children. Inflatables and other interactive games will be available as well as water stations to keep kids hydrated. All JEC members who enter the Eagle Fun Zone must have a parent or guardian check them in at a registration table.
The Eagle Fun Zone opens an hour and a half before kickoff of each home football game and closes immediately following the end of the fourth quarter. For questions pertaining to the JEC please call 912-478-1500.
