STATESBORO, Ga. - Members of Georgia Southern varsity sports teams, athletic staff and the University Cheerleaders helped some of the more than 3,000 new students during Operation Move-In Friday.
Operation Move-In started at 8 a.m. at the RAC and members of the Athletic Staff along with GUS were on hand to greet the new members of Eagle Nation, sign up students for the Student Eagle Club, pass out posters and schedule cards and Georgia Southern gear to those not wearing the proper True Blue apparel.
Members of the cheerleading squad helped students move in to the dorms at Eagle Village and Kennedy Hall before lunch while members of the football team worked in the afternoon to help students move into dorms across the Georgia Southern campus.
