New areas give fans new options inside Paulson Stadium
STATESBORO, Ga. – For the 2014 football season, Georgia Southern will offer some new seating areas for fans to take advantage of as the Eagles play their first season in the Sun Belt Conference. The areas include a pair of Family Plan sections and the new club level which is located underneath the mid-deck on the North side of the stadium.
Season tickets are now available by contacting the Georgia Southern Athletics Ticket Office. Get your tickets online at GSEagles.com or by calling 1-800-GSU-WINS.
The 2014 season features five home games including a pair of nationally televised Thursday night contests. Appalachian State and Troy come to the friendly confines for the games which can be seen on ESPNU. Games against Savannah State, Idaho and Louisiana-Monroe complete the slate of home games.
New Club Level
Located on the north end of the stadium underneath the mid-deck is the New Club Level. Patrons of the Georgia Southern Athletic Foundation will have the option to purchase seats in the club level which will feature chair back seats with arm rests, television access and a beverage component attached to every ticket.
For more information about the New Club Level, please contact the Georgia Southern Athletics Foundation.
Eagle Family Plan Grass Hill
The only way for fans to sit on the grass hill on the southwest corner of Paulson Stadium is by getting a ticket for the Eagle Family Plan Grass Hill. The section is limited to just 300 tickets and is one of the best values at Paulson Stadium. A pair of tickets for all five home games starts at $145 and each additional ticket costs just $75 for the season.
No single game tickets will be sold for the hill and fans will only be allowed to sit on blankets and towels.
Eagle Family Plan Reserved Seating
Reserved seating for the Eagle Family Plan is located in sections JJ and KK of the North mid-deck. A family of four can purchase season tickets for just $295.
These tickets are also the only season tickets that do not require a donation to the Georgia Southern Athletic Foundation. Both areas of Family Plan seating also include season ticket holder benefits which include preferred access to away game tickets.
Football Operations Center to be Completed for 2014
While it won't contain any new seating, the new Football Operations Center will bring a new high definition video board to Paulson Stadium. The new video board is more than twice the size of the previous video board and will give fans a chance to see games in a whole new light.
The 2014 home opener is on Saturday, September 6th, against Savannah State. The first game of the FBS era, as well as every Saturday home game, starts at 6 p.m.
